30 Untold Food Stories

Gradutation book project at LUCA School of Arts, Ghent featuring 30 self-collected food stories that were invented accidentally. The book has 3 main sections: The fairy tales, The blurry myths and The true legends. The design has been informed by the aspects of serendipity. It happens in the moment, it's unexpected, it's a discovery. To note down these happy accidents, one would make a quick sketch or short description in a notebook. The calligraphic headline font is a subtle nod to handwriting. Street photography supports each story because of its nature of capturing a fleeting moment.
